For, I am not here as

A tabula rasa of undertaking

To be found arisen upon the

schemes and schedules

Of your, compliances and wants.

Of languid restraint

in mine, of time,

Albeit in its stops and starts,

You will be, by many a count,

most, well entertained.

Rest assured in this;

For I am neither without a

certain joie de vie nor, a

Modicum of perceptivity.
