The Two Buddhas

The smaller red ('Happy') Buddha

is stimulation

and the wheel of life

which blends all

heaven and hedon with

our imaginings false

and realities real;

of hell, sufferings,

pain and impermanence.

The serene wooden meditating Buddha

is just all of that,

the hub of the wheel

and the infinite eternal

containing the ephemeral.
