The Ocean of Gratitude

Gratitude is the Ocean that consumes

in its infinite vastness

the tear drops of those who

would must cry or weep,

the songs of the rain drops which

nurture and sustain and,

the sunlit glistened sparkles rippling

upon the river of life's joy.

Gratitude, when finally known,

is that which supersedes,

consumes and subsumes,

love both human and divine.
