The Heating of Life Vast Sky

This swirling

energy of vital heat

is swimming in

my loins and kath*.

This excitation-fire

is a wondrous bellows

below the inner-forge

of the life-vast sky.

*The 'kath center' or, 'Kath State', is the awareness

and enlivenment of the 'chi energy'. It is also the

solar-plexus concentration center that is the point

of physical and psychic focus in many of the Oriental

disciplines and practices including martial arts.

In yoga tradition it is also the concentrated energy at

the solar-plexus. It is an energy that need not (Tantra)

be totally thought of as apart from or, necessarily

mutually exclusive from the lower chakras. At its best,

it is a sacred upwelling. At its best, it is fused with

the subtle Energy-of-the-Universe. At its best, it is the

tether of 'prana' as the sustaining flow of our Breath-

as-Word. From its root, it is the arising and awakening

of the kundalini energy [aka. shakti] and its upwelling

[primarily] through the Sushumna [spinal channel]).

At its best, it is the vibrant clarity of the 'lustrous

gem'. It is a throne of energy sustained from below. It

is the 'Manipura' chakra, the powerhouse of clarity,

will, focus and, manifest passionate enlivened vitality.
