Taking Responsibility

Never again shall I be so selfish

to trust subterfuge or token attempt

or expect someone can or will

or even could

let alone should

Change to be something compatible with me.

I am a 'Crazy Bastard'.

Sane, stable, self-reliant, values

the aesthetics of cleanliness and order,

a heart of goodness, sharing, and no-harm:

but, mark well;

a book written of different times and places.

I am at Peace of mind and Soul.

Yes, I am also kinky and out-of-the-box

and without sin, honour the Goddesses & Pan.

I know the Light-Within and yet move

to taste and touch the life without as youth given Wisdom

untainted by demons emblazoned to adorn 'old-stories'.

Nor have the admonishments of my keepers

found the results of my questioning

either made me 'mad' or 'blind'.

I find joy at rest in sunrise burning the dew from the blades of grass

and too in dance at full moon to the beat of drums and heat of fire.

I ask not of You or the Warrior Queen who would run with me

(and I with You)

either compromise, or make or show of promises.

I ask only you are

an impossibility of alike and similar to me.

Come closer, I would know your kinship.

Your gait would be unburdened and free of censure.

You would carry the proof as an adornment,

as a dance of light and accomplishment:

the torch and grail of a Happiness already Within!

Beyond welcome, you would find an esteem and revere for

a breadth, depth, logic, and integrity of mind;

of a She who walks blessed yet in a brightness of health;

cleansed of care and woe, fear, boundaries, and blame;

finds readily open glee and song in the lifeblood of her feminine;

and, truly remains alive and young at peace

in the winds and etchings of Time.

If too you are unashamed; embody both mirth and mischief -

then, then shall I admit I may yet have found my match.

Know; it is not to possess - and I am long Liberated from Jealousy -

but, to truly, celebrate with and keep free.
