Simplicity as it Relates to the Question of Purpose I was asked of Immortality and purpose. Immortality is an incredible journey of discipline, will, and grace you must find in the mind-heart as an uncommunicable deeply personal simplification within.. Purpose though, is truly simple. Being manifest and of the mind and pithed and stripped to a dialectic unadorned: either life has meaning or it doesn’t. If It doesn’t, it doesn’t. If it does, it does. If it doesn’t matter, then it doesn’t matter. If it does matter, then it does matter. So, we might as well live life as if it matters, because if it doesn’t, it doesn’t matter. Thus, in simplicity, it becomes we who can chose give this life meaning, reverence, and purpose. (15 January '07)
