Ships at Sea & Flags of Peace

The seas are broad and deep

with a comaradarie

We are wont

in brotherhood to keep.

Yet, may I keep

a charted course

That is starward

of your reefs.

May I keep

a respectful distance

From a call to deck

and cannon ball.

May I keep

my sails full set

Billowing in trim and

trailing an ensign unfurled

So to leeward

at will manuver

Free of your gangplanks

and grappling hooks.

For, the seas are broad and deep

with a comaradarie

We are wont

in brotherhood to keep.
