Answer to the World

(or)

Applause for My Arrogance

Medicine circle of fast and nature and wait,

Leather, family

‘the lifestyle'

'the scene'

alternative

Get out of my gutter because

you might be standing on my shoulders

aspiration, tapas

raja, bakta, parana

Katmandu

magic and mushrooms

music, chillum full old days and waft of herb

love and hope and loss

discovery

Rapture in the surf of the senses.

and

Shamu

Don't Declare your god from page and verse and scripture

Because mine has emerged Herself

in a trinity without form

you would embalm with

sin, stupidity and yourself.

I am happy-Gratitude.

I walk among you neighbors.

It's not that I claim your eyes

are dull and dead

Just that, though I can mimic you,

I am not of your stated ways

or path-of-things.

Of Grace and inner-thingless-Constant.

I am arrogant still in my choices.

Neither, have I advanced to the manifestation

of Compassion

Yet

Be most careful.

I might touch you.

You might have to think and feel.

Be careful too!

If devoid of trust,

You will only have but shell of single self.

I am laughter,

I am at times disdain

alloyed in patience.

I am not the Constant Buddha

But I am, the Lila-of-Thanksgiving

in that which he surveys.

Jai !
